It’s a beginning

My uncle Mike, whenever he would come over to the house on a visit, would eat the fridge empty. He wasn’t fat or anything, just a hard working, mid 30’s guy who didn’t really take the time to feed himself right, so when he came over, Dad would cook for him. Before he was married, he would spend the holidays with us, at least Thanksgiving lol. I remember my dad always getting a bit frustrated with how much he would eat; dad wanted left overs (what’s better than smoked turkey sandwiches?). So, one Thanksgiving, when Mike came over, Dad started early on him. He had all these chips and dips and deer pepperoni sticks and soda and the football games were on…. Lmao, finally, when dinner was ready and the turkey and goose came out of the smoker, dad laid everything out on the table, I mean there wasn’t enough room for plates, and he sat Mike down and put the biggest serving in front of him. Haha you could see the sinister gleam in my Dad’s eyes from across the table as Mike’s eyes got really big and he started sweating, maybe his hand shook a little when he grabbed his fork… Suffice it to say, there were plenty of left overs that year and every year there after we had a Thanksgiving dinner.

I’ve got a lot of photos scattered across multiple drives and a Google Drive half full. It’s a lot and I’ve felt like uncle Mike, shaking and sweating looking at the pile. I’ve finally begun. Business cards are made, this website is coming together, business name registered, drone pilot license in the mail…
